Cladding Fire Remedials

Following the Grenfell fire disaster and the issue of the Hackitt Report (Building a Safer Future) the safety of high rise buildings, particularly residential, has come under increasing scrutiny amid a drive to confirm their safety or to remediate those buildings.

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) developed the EWS1 Form. The form came into use in December 2019 and was updated in March 2021.  Oak Facades can propose a specialist surveyor to undertake the EWS1 sign-off if required.

Oak Facades have positioned themselves within the Façade industry to undertake the fire remediation works of all buildings with non-compliant building façade materials.  As a company we can undertake façade projects as an appointed subcontractor or as a full principal contractor we offer a fully CDM 2015 compliant service complete with associated insurances.  We can offer a full design service covered by industry leading Professional Indemnity insurance.
